Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Create detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Generate plans, sections, and details for site development, including roads, drainage, utilities, and grading.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and local regulations.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all drawings and revisions.
- Coordinate with other draftspersons and project team members to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
- Proven experience as a Civil Draftsperson in a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Knowledge of local regulations and codes related to land development projects in New Zealand.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant qualifications in drafting or a related field.
