Civil Drafter

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Create detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD software.
• Generate plans, sections, and details for site development, including roads, drainage, utilities, and grading.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and local regulations.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all drawings and revisions.
• Coordinate with other draftspersons and project team members to ensure seamless integration of design elements.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following:  

• Proven experience as a Civil Draftsperson in a similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Knowledge of local regulations and codes related to land development projects in New Zealand.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant qualifications in drafting or a related field.
