About the role

We’re looking for experienced warehouse forklift operators to join our team in Pokeno.

With a storage capacity of 5500 metric tonne housing both finished and raw goods, we bulk stack at height, so experience is essential.
Experience in a food manufacturing environment is also essential. If you’re reliable and have the experience we require, we’d love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

• The safe loading and unloading of trucks
• Forklift stacking of pallets of powders/canned products
• Accurately pick stock items in accordance with the outgoing/ internal paperwork in line with the factory requirements
• Ensure all product that is received/dispatched is free of damage
• Ability to effectively manage time and meet set targets
• Responsible for the reporting maintenance of related equipment
• To ensure that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times, adhering to all H&S protocols and procedures
• Adhere to health and safety rules at all times

About you

• Forklift license essential, experience with forklifts 3.5 - 5.5 tonne desirable and bulk stacking at height is essential
• MPI accredited with container devanning/loading experience would be advantageous
• Familiarity of computers and hoist mounted computer units
• Good communicator who can work well with others
• Able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written English skills
• Take pride in your working environment and equipment
• Ability to work night shift patterns
