At New Shoots Hobsonville, we’re on the lookout for a full-time experienced unqualified preschool teacher to join our vibrant, purpose-led team. You’ll be working alongside our preschool team, supporting tamariki as they explore, create, problem-solve, and grow. Your experience in early learning environments means you understand solid documentation, the importance of responsive caregiving, and how to create a space where children feel safe, seen, and valued.

What you’ll bring to the table:
  • Proven experience working with preschool-aged children
  • A natural ability to build strong, respectful relationships with tamariki and whānau
  • Confidence contributing to a play-based, child-led curriculum
  • A proactive, team-first mindset 
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and learning through play
