Intermediate Structural Engineer

Stable Structure Limited is a structural and civil engineering consultancy that has been operating in New Zealand for over seven years.

We are currently seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis, with a minimum of 3 years of New Zealand experience.

Initially, the role will be part-time (20 hours per week) for the first six months, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position (40 hours per week) thereafter.

Key Requirements:

• Must hold a valid visa with the right to work in New Zealand

• Proven experience as an independent structural designer for residential houses

• Strong knowledge of NZS 1170 and NZS 3604

• Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting

• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with architects, councils, and other consultants

• Familiarity with council requirements and consent submission processes
