This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school providing early intervention and preventative social work services to children and their families from a strengths based approach. You will have a significant opportunity to identify and address factors which put students' education outcomes at risk. The workload will be varied and each day you will be faced with the challenge of utilising your knowledge, skill and networks to produce the best outcome for families and students whilst been well supported by clinical supervision and training.
Person Specifications:
The successful candidate will have strong child protection lenses, the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships, have a Social Work qualification and be registered or eligible for registration. You will need to work well within a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently, have knowledge of Pacific Island, Maori and new immigrant cultures and have a "can-do" attitude.
