Caretaker
James Hargest College is looking for a versatile and reliable Caretaker to join our dedicated property team. If you take pride in maintaining a high-standard environment for students and staff and enjoy a "hands-on" role with plenty of variety, we want to hear from you.
The Role
This is a part-time position, hours to be negotiated (a minimum of 20 hours per week), 52 weeks per year. While primarily based at our Senior Campus, you will be a key member of a fluid property team working across our four of our school sites.
Key Responsibilities
· Grounds Maintenance: Carrying out the primary workflow of landscaping, lawn care, and general outdoor upkeep.
· General Caretaking: Providing flexible support for minor repairs, facility maintenance, and site security.
· Site Support: Collaborating with the Property Manager to ensure all four campuses are safe, functional, and well-presented.
What We Are Looking For
· Varied Trade Experience: You should have a "handyman" skill set with experience in general maintenance or trades.
· Self-Reliance: A proven track record of working independently and managing your own workflow effectively.
· Team Player: While you are self-sufficient, you must also be able to work seamlessly within a larger property team.
· Flexibility: The ability to adapt to changing priorities across multiple locations.
