We're working with a global leader in industrial automation, looking to appoint their next Brisbane-based Automation Engineer, with strong relocation support on offer to make the move seamless.

This opportunity puts you at the centre of delivering large-scale, automated materials handling systems - taking projects from concept through to commissioning and beyond. You'll be hands-on across PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, system integration, and on-site delivery, working closely with mechanical, electrical, and project teams to bring complex systems together.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, or similar)
• Strong capability across HMI and/or SCADA development
• Solid understanding of industrial automation systems and communication protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot, fault-find, and solve problems under pressure
• Confidence interpreting electrical drawings and contributing to system design
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work both autonomously and in a team
• Strong communication skills, particularly when dealing with clients and stakeholders

*NZ Citizenship for full AUS working rights is essential.
