Te Mahi – About the job
We’re looking for a talented newsreader to present news, weather and sport across RNZ National programmes, primarily Checkpoint with Lisa Owen and The Panel with Wallace Chapman.
Ōu Pūkenga – About You
Working as part of a team in a high energy programming environment, you’ll need:
The experience to present live news bulletins on our platforms, with a strong engaging presence on air.
The ability to gain an on-air pass at RNZ, with a broadcast quality voice, including strong Māori and Pacific pronunciation skills.
The ability to be calm under pressure while working to tight deadlines.
A strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail in your preparation and on-air delivery.
A commitment to working rostered shifts primarily in the afternoon and evenings.
