Operations & Technology Lead
We are seeking a tech-savvy, systems-minded Operations & Technology Lead who is passionate about continuous improvement. In this role, you will enhance our internal systems, streamline workflows, and provide essential technology and operational support.
Reporting directly to the Company Directors and working closely with our General Manager and management team, this is a unique hybrid position that blends operations, workflow optimisation, and IT leadership within a purpose-driven organisation.

You will lead improvements across our workflow platforms and company processes, with a strong focus on enabling effective team delivery, facilitating smooth processes, supporting our people, and driving technology adoption, including AI integrations, throughout the business.
Your efforts will directly reduce manual work, boost efficiency, and help fuel sustainable business growth.
What You'll Be Doing
Operations, Workflow & Technology Leadership (Approx. 60%)
You will lead optimisation of our core systems, integrations, AI tools, IT support, and digital setup to boost efficiency, security, and smooth team work
Manage and optimise our core workflow platform (Podio) and its associated automations
Develop and implement integrations using tools like Zapier, Make, APIs etc
Explore and introduce AI-powered enhancements to further streamline our operations.
Provide internal IT support, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, video conferencing setup (Zoom, Teams) and cyber security
Manage website updates, digital tools, CRM system, and marketing platforms to ensure they support our teams effectively.
Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, device coordination, and IT asset register maintenance.
Liaise with external IT providers and escalate complex matters as required.
Operational Support (Approx. 30%)
You will deliver high-level administrative and coordination support to keep the business running smoothly and enable teams to focus on strategic priorities.
Schedule and coordinate meetings and events across the team.
Prepare agendas, materials, and accurate meeting minutes.
Conduct research and prepare clear information to inform operational and strategic decisions.
Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Leadership & Team Enablement (Approx. 10%)
Attend management meetings and contribute positively to our collaborative culture by supporting team problem-solving and embodying our values in everyday work
Assist with special projects and strategic business initiatives
About You

You have solid mid-level operational or technology leadership experience and are eager to grow into greater responsibility and impact.

You will likely bring:
Proven capability in workflow automation, systems development life cycle, operations management, IT support, and CRM/platform management
Strong IT troubleshooting ability
A genuine passion for continuous improvement
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Experience using Automation tools (Zapier, Make, etc.)
Experience with Podio, AI integrations or API tools would be highly advantageous.
Practical knowledge of core Agile principles and Scrum practices, with ability to help teams remove impediments, improve collaboration, and adopt self-organization.
