The Role
We are seeking a Sprinkler Technician Trainee to join our service team supporting the Wellington region. This is a fulltime position (40 hours per week guaranteed), focused on learning and contributing to the servicing, installation, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
You will be working on varied sites, supporting experienced technicians, and developing your technical skills. A positive attitude, great communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure will help you succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosing system faults
Repairing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems
Minor installation work

A full, clean NZ driver licence
Willingness and ability to work at heights
Strong customer service and communication skills
Sound technical and problem solving abilities
Clean criminal history
Previous hands-on trade or mechanical experience is a bonus
