Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity

We're looking for someone to join the team at our Waipapa store working 40 hours per week. This is a Fixed term position that will be finishing on the 01/01/2027.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing retail sales and customer service to our shareholders

  • Advising customers on a range of sheep and beef, dry stock and general agricultural products

  • Operating a point of sale (POS) system

  • Completing administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock

  • Restocking and displaying our products

  • A background in the farming sector

  • You can engage and talk to anyone

  • You have retail sales or customer service skills and experience

  • You have sound computer skills

  • You're physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks

Bonus Points for:

  • A forklift licence

  • A first aid licence
