We’re looking for an experienced Engineer to join our Research and Development Centre located in Wigram, Christchurch.
The Staff Hardware Engineer will be developing technology for the next generation of Enphase micro-inverters.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities include:
Research and develop new power electronics technologies for Enphase micro-inverters and related products
Specify, design and test new product designs
Bring up and characterise early prototypes
Provide mentoring and technical direction to product development teams
Skills and Qualifications:
BE, BSc, Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
5 years minimum experience in developing products from concept stage to market launch
Experience designing high frequency magnetics and advanced power converters
Experience designing power, analogue or digital electronics circuits
Knowledge of circuit schematics, PCB layout and simulation tools
Exposure to Python, C or FPGA design would be considered an advantage
Exposure to taking products through international compliance testing
