International Relationship Manager

Auckland Grammar School is a large and diverse school, and we are currently seeking an experienced and motivated International Relationship Manager to join our International Department.

  
The School is a highly desirable workplace located in Epsom and offers a competitive remuneration package to the right candidate. The International Team environment is both professional and friendly. This position will report to and provide support to the Director of International Marketing.

Key responsibilities of the role are:

·       To assist with the promotion, recruitment and retention of international students

·       To represent the school overseas in key markets, including China, North & South East Asia

·       To develop and maintain the agent database for direct marketing

·       Code of Practice

·       To assist with student induction and wellbeing

We are looking for a person with the following attributes:

·       A great cultural fit.

·       Mandarin and/or Korean native language proficiency is highly desirable.

·       Tertiary qualification in marketing and/or communication

·       Prior experience in the international education industry

·       Ability to travel independently overseas for School business for up to 3 weeks at a time, approximately 8 weeks per year

·       Excellent English writing skills.

·       A clean driver’s license and private car are required.

·       Competent user of Excel and other computer programmes.

·       Cultural sensitivity and experience working with young people.

·       Ability to communicate effectively with people who speak English as a second language.

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Energetic, positive team player and a ‘can do’ attitude.

·       An open and clear communicator.

·       Sound administrative experience.

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality.

·       Able to work effectively under pressure.

·       Flexibility to work evenings or weekends.

·       Ability to work as a team member and across teams/departments.

·       Dedicated to upholding the School values.

·       A positive and collaborative approach to the team and work environment.
