Retail Sales Assistant & Stock Processor

Tatty’s is looking for a thoughtful, organised person to join our team as a Retail Sales Assistant & Stock Processor.

This role combines retail, stock processing, consignor and customer service. You’ll assess and price incoming clothing, maintain beautiful stores, and provide the friendly, honest customer experience Tatty’s is known for.

What you’ll do

• Assess, select and price incoming consignor clothing

• Process and manage stock using our inventory systems

• Maintain organised, clean and   well-merchandised retail spaces

• Provide welcoming, knowledgeable customer service

• Support consignors with drop-offs, accounts and queries

• Assist with daily store operations and online order fulfilment

• Work with the team to keep stock processing efficient and accurate
  

Weekend and Public Holiday work required. You may occasionally work across any of Tatty’s four Auckland locations.

About you

• Reliable and flexible, and have a high standard of personal presentation

• Love for & detailed knowledge of the brands we resell, the contemporary fashion market, and archival and classic styles

• Communicate clearly and your skills in this area are fundamental to your success at Tatty’s

• You’re comfortable multi-tasking and working with urgency

• Experienced and confident with customer service

• Fashion retail or clothing resale experience is helpful, but not essential

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours at a time and ability to lift and move up to 10kgs

• Proven ability to perform in a high-volume, quota-driven environment
