Supply Chain Section Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Section Lead you will oversee the service delivery of all warehousing within the Waiouru region, this includes warehousing, materiel management/husbandry, inventory management, salvage management and freight. You will provide leadership and direction to our warehousing teams on the ground ensuring all warehouse and inventory operations comply with both Lockheed Martin and NZDF policies, product management and controls including H&S.
This role forms part of the Waiouru Leadership Team you will be the conduit between operations and management and be required to build effective working relations with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring the success of New Zealand’s only 24/7 operational training ground.
ABOUT YOU:
To be considered for this opportunity we are looking for the following skills and experiences:
· Extensive experience in warehousing, stores, and inventory management
· Proven leadership experience within the supply chain environment
· Strong people management skills, with demonstrated experience leading and developing teams
· Proficiency in warehouse management systems, ideally SAP

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain a New Zealand Defence Security Clearance by meeting one of the following criteria:
• A NZ citizen, OR
• A NZ Permanent Resident who has resided in NZ for the past 5 years OR
• A citizen of Australia, Canada, UK or the USA who has a current work permit for NZ
You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.
