Healthcare Assistant Permanent
Kerikeri Retirement Village (Kerikeri, Northland NZ) is a charitable organisation that is home to approximately 200 people, with 66 of those living in our accredited residential care facility. We have three levels of care within our three wings; hospital level (total care), rest home care and a wing for people with dementia.
Our Health Care Assistants are the magic that hold our place together; the work they do is invaluable in helping the wonderful people who call our facility home have the best possible life here.
You must be available to work all hours including weekends, our shifts are:
Monday to Friday 6.45-1500, 1445-2100 and Saturday, Sunday 6.45-1500, 1445-2100,
Nocte Shifts Monday to Sunday 2245 - 0700
Permanent Part time: 30 hours per week available
To work with us as a Health Care Assistant role you will need:
• Empathy for people who are older and be able to connect with people
• The ability to work on your own and in a team
• Experience in the health sector NZ Health & Wellbeing Level 2 as a minimum requirement
• Availability to work AM/PM/Nocte and alternative weekends
• Provide three referees
• Police check (we undertake this)
