We are looking for a STMS to join our highly motivated and skilled Traffic and Civil team. Be a part of a forward-thinking company that provides a supportive culture and continuous improvement and development for all of its employees.

 

About the role: 

Our Traffic Management team assist with the company’s temporary traffic management requirements by:

  • Setting up site specific temporary traffic plans, provided by the Team Leader, that cover the design, implementation, maintenance and removal of temporary traffic management measures.
  • Co-ordinating external resources on site, where required.
  • Applying generic traffic management plans as requested by the Team Leader.
  • Managing Traffic Controllers (TC’s) to ensure safe and efficient work sites.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and ensure information is communicated to all Traffic and Civil team members.
  • Ensuring all safety procedures are followed. Ensuring all hazards and risks are identified prior to each job starting and a hazard ID is completed.

About you:

  • Hold an STMS level 1 Practising along with vehicle licence classes 1 and 2
  • Strong communication skills
  • Personal enthusiasm and able to work unsupervised
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all levels, both written and verbal

As part of our recruitment process successful candidates are required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and criminal record check. 

Those not currently in NZ and/or without a current work visa cannot be considered at this stage.
