Modular Housing Designer (LBP Draftsperson or Builder‑Designer)

Árbol is growing fast, and we’re on the lookout for a passionate, intuitive, technically sharp, and genuinely fun LBP Designer to join our expanding team.

We don’t build like everyone else. We’ve carved our own path, crafting healthier, longer‑lasting, energy‑efficient, and environmentally responsible homes for Kiwis. Every Árbol home is designed with European low‑energy principles, built to high‑performance or Passive House standards, fully constructed in our Cromwell facility, and delivered to sites across New Zealand.

From Tutukaka in the Far North to Papatowai in the deep South, our homes are redefining what quality living can be.

🌿 What You’ll Bring

• A confident, qualified approach to residential design

• Strong experience working with clients and navigating council processes

• A willingness to jump into new concepts and push boundaries

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to support and mentor other team members (2pax)

🛠️ Your Responsibilities

• Full design and detailing of Árbol homes, from concept to completion

• Managing building consent documentation and council coordination

• Guiding and supporting our design team of 2, as we continue to grow

⭐ Ideally, You’ll Have

• 10+ years of residential design experience

• Strong capability in relevant design software (Revit Preffered)

• LBP Design registration

📍 Location & Work Style

We’d love you to be based in Cromwell, or able to work from our office at least three days a week.

This role will start part‑time and grow quickly into full‑time as our pipeline expands, perfect for someone ready to step into a long‑term, impactful role.
