Senior Test Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to help drive quality outcomes across a complex, large scale programme of work. You will shape and deliver end to end testing, covering functional and non functional testing, with a strong focus on automation and continuous improvement. You will work closely with specialists across the organisation to ensure solutions are robust, user centred, and aligned with programme objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain programme level test strategies, test plans, and measurable quality criteria.
• Execute a mix of exploratory, manual, and automated testing to verify requirements and intended outcomes.
• Establish and evolve automation suites for integration, regression, and non functional testing, including Pytest or similar tools.
• Oversee defect management using appropriate tools and structured reporting.
• Coordinate and conduct test assessments to confirm coverage, quality, and compliance
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and ensure testing integrates effectively with tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.

• Has at least 5 years of experience in software testing, including automation development.
• Is confident using SQL and Python, and familiar with tools such as Selenium and modern automation frameworks.
• Understands CI/CD practices and how to incorporate testing within them.
• Communicates clearly, collaborates effectively, and works well in multidisciplinary environments.
