About the role

We're seeking a capable Educator to lead the refinement and implementation of our teaching practice standards and academic development programme.

This contract is to lead the implementation of our peer observation framework, working collaboratively with teaching staff and leadership to implement clear, evidence-informed teaching standards that reflect great pedagogical practice and supports continuous professional growth. You'll refine and embed sustainable observation practices that are developmental, constructive, and aligned with our commitment to teaching excellence.

Your work will include facilitating professional learning sessions, coaching leaders through the teaching observation process, and building a culture where feedback is valued as a tool for improvement. You'll also support them in analysing observation data to identify trends and inform targeted professional development.

About you

You're an accomplished educator with capability in pedagogical leadership and a deep understanding of effective teaching practices. You will preferably have experience developing or implementing teaching standards and academic development frameworks, and you know how to make these processes feel supportive.

You're an excellent communicator who can build trust with Leaders and teachers at all career stages, offering feedback that is specific, constructive, and actionable. You have the facilitation skills to lead productive professional learning and the analytical ability to interpret data and translate it into meaningful improvement strategies.

Above all, you're passionate about teacher development and believe that investing in teaching quality is the most powerful way to improve student learning. You're collaborative, reflective, and committed to creating systems that help every teacher grow.


What you will bring:

  • Experience in academic development or teaching support
  • Good systems thinking, coaching and facilitation skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in supporting digital tools and technologies in teaching
  • Commitment to inclusive teaching practices
  • Good administration and co-ordination
