Pharmacist Positions – Pharmacy of the Future

We are recruiting for a pharmacist to work across two distinct, high-performing pharmacy environments.

You can choose the model that suits you — or work across both.

This is not a typical community pharmacy role.

Option 1: Advanced Automation & Precision Dispensing

Work in one of the most technologically advanced dispensing environments in New Zealand.

Our automation-focused site is home to the country’s first BD Rowa VMAX 160 dispensing robot, integrated with barcode-verified robotic dispensing, advanced sachet packaging systems, a structured PACT-supported checking workflow, and optimised digital stock control.

Automation reduces repetitive workload and manual selection risk, creating a safer and more controlled dispensing environment. You will be supported by highly trained Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technicians and work within a modern, purpose-built dispensary designed for efficiency and precision.

This role suits pharmacists who value systems thinking, workflow excellence, and technology-led practice.

Option 2: Community Health & Clinical Services Hub

Our second site operates as a true community health hub, driven by service, consultation, and patient engagement.

You will be supported by a dedicated vaccinator, a health and wellness specialist, and two PACT technicians, allowing you to focus on clinical leadership. Services include vaccinations, minor ailment consultations, medication optimisation, and rest home clinical oversight.

This role suits pharmacists who value patient interaction, clinical autonomy, and meaningful community impact.

Flexibility Across Both

We recognise that many pharmacists value variety. We offer flexibility to work primarily in one environment or across both sites, with the ability to evolve your focus over time.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking an NZ-registered pharmacist with a current APC who is clinically engaged, professionally driven, and motivated to practise at the top of their scope. You should be comfortable working within structured systems and open to either high-tech dispensing, service-led practice, or both.
