The New Zealand Campus of Innovation and Sport (NZCIS) is a world‑class training facility in Upper Hutt catering to sports teams, professional athletes, government trainees, and corporate groups who stay, play, train, work, and dine with us on campus.
With over 500 beds, multiple conference spaces, and an elite Performance Institute, the campus is a dynamic and rewarding place to work.
We are currently seeking a Permanent Part-time Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. This role involves supporting the team by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across accommodation, communal areas, and facilities. You will earn the living wage and work a minimum of 8hrs per week, which may include weekends, some evenings, and provide cover for staff absences.
Key responsibilities include:
Cleaning and servicing guest rooms and common areas
Ensuring all spaces meet NZCIS cleanliness and presentation standards
Reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly
Supporting the housekeeping team during busy periods or staff shortages
Providing excellent customer service to guests and visitors
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning
Understand best‑practice cleaning methods, safety, and sanitation standards
Be reliable, honest, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Have strong communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude
Be flexible with availability, especially weekends and evenings
