Part Time - Chef De Partie

Hornby Club is looking for an experienced Part-time Chef for evening and weekend work.

 We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Chef to join our busy kitchen team for night and weekend shifts. This role is perfect for someone who lives in Christchurch and enjoys a fast-paced service environment and wants the opportunity to grow into a full-time position as the business continues to grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Preparing and cooking menu items during busy service

  • Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation

  • Assisting with food prep and kitchen organisation

  • Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are followed

  • Working closely with the kitchen team during service


What We’re Looking For

 ✔ Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a commercial kitchen

✔ Ability to work evenings and weekends

✔ Reliable, organised, and able to work under pressure

✔ Positive attitude and team player

✔ Good understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
