Senior Cafe Assistant

We are searching for an experienced Cafe All-Rounder, who loves hospitality and a busy corporate environment, to join our Central City Cafe, Lawn.

Work weekdays only!

This position for a cafe all-rounder who thrives in a customer focused busy atmosphere, as well as supporting the barista team and the kitchen.

Lawn is a bustling cafe with high volume dine in and takeaway coffee as well as a menu and cabinet food. Staff culture and company ethos is extremely important to our team alongside passion for making the best cup of coffee everytime, alongside great food and service. 

We are looking for someone to get involved in all areas of the business, kitchen and front of house, depending on the requirements of the day. Barista experience is preferred.

To be successful in this role you will need:

- At least 1 years hospitality experience

- Love customer service and thrive on the bustling cafe atmosphere

- The ability to maintain speed while serving a high standard of beverages

- The ability to stay calm and focused under pressure

- Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written

We require a person with a great attitude and professional relations with staff and customers, who thrives on serving the best food and beverages in Auckland.

Tasks for this position include:

• Working with the team to produce the best food and beverages in the city

• Preparing, serving and clearing food and beverages

• Help out on all sections including dishes

• Some food preparation skills are also a huge bonus
