About the role:
The successful electrician will work across a mix of electrical installations, maintenance, servicing work, and smaller projects. The role offers variety and the chance to take ownership of jobs in the field, managing work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

This role suits an electrician who enjoys varied work, takes pride in producing quality results, and is comfortable managing jobs with a good level of autonomy.

Key responsibilities:
  • Electrical servicing, repairs and maintenance work
  • Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
  • Electrical installations across residential and commercial sites
  • Heat pump installation, replacement and servicing
  • Managing assigned jobs independently in the field
  • Communicating with customers and explaining work carried out
  • Maintaining clear job notes, time records and documentation
About you:
  • Current New Zealand Electrical Registration and practicing license
  • Experience working as a licensed electrician
  • Strong fault finding and electrical servicing capability
  • Ability to work independently and manage jobs autonomously
  • Professional communication with customers and colleagues
  • Full New Zealand drivers license
Experience installing or servicing heat pumps would be highly beneficial. Candidates with the capability and willingness to develop these skills will also be considered.
