Traffic Management - STMS
Treetech Specialist Treecare Ltd is one of New Zealand’s leading arboriculture companies. Founded in 1996 by Chris Walsh who remains Managing Director to this day. Treetech’s vision is to lead the way in urban forest management, while providing tree services that are second to none and working in a manner that is not only safe to our staff and the public but one that also has minimal impact on the environment.
We are expanding our Traffic Managment division and are looking for experienced Traffic Management people to join our team. They will provide safe and effective temporary traffic management (TTM) work sites under an approved traffic management plan (TMP) with desired protection for both public safety and our highly skilled Arborists.
Key Responsibilities:
Competent TM set outs according to both Treetech generic and specific TMP’s in order to comply with local authority and NZTA requirements.
Continued control and maintenance of TM sites under your control to ensure sites remain both compliant and safe.
Care and attention for the safety of Treetech staff, motorists, and others in and around TM sites to keep all involved safe.
Assisting crews on site as and when required to ensure efficiency and clean-ups, etc.
Briefing and assistance to Treetech staff with traffic management queries.
The successful candidate will have:
Current STMS practicing qualification.
A full class 2 license.
Strong organisation, planning & problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work within a team and individually.
