About Us:

At Citycare Water, we’re proud to be the country’s largest dedicated experts in three waters – around 600 good people, making it happen across 10 locations. We specialise in water network maintenance and reticulation renewal construction. We service almost a quarter of properties nationwide; and we maintain over 20,000kms of pipe network. About the job: 

We’re looking for an experienced Crew Leader to join our team in Christchurch. 

  • Training and supervising a team of 3-4 crew members on worksites
  • Planning daily work activities and coordinating tasks
  • Maintaining stormwater channels, waterways, basins and rivers to ensure that water can flow freely
  • Removing vegetation, debris, and obstructions from waterways
  • Completing safety checks and documentation including JSEA/Take 5

What you’ll need: 

  • Class 1 full licence required (manual training provided)
  • Comprehensive workplace First Aid
  • Competence operating plant and machinery such as weed eaters.
  • Experience supervising and training staff
  • Strong team building and communication skills

All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
