About the Role
You’ll enjoy full autonomy over your own portfolio, working closely with clients and building lasting relationships built on trust, insight and impact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing end-of-year financial statements, tax returns and management reports to ensure clients remain fully compliant.
• Providing valuable advisory support across tax planning, business performance and strategic decision-making.
• Reviewing work, supporting junior team members and contributing to a positive, growth-minded culture.

A Chartered Accountant qualification is ideal, but the priority is your capability, experience and your confidence in partnering with clients. Full-time is preferred, though flexible options such as part-time or job share will be considered.
  
Skills & Experience
You’ll bring:

• Solid understanding of New Zealand accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Proven technical ability, including proficiency with Xero, XPM and Suite Files.
• Attention to detail, commercial awareness and a solutions-focused mindset.
• A positive team spirit, eagerness to keep developing and a sense of humour.
