We provide full training to all our instructors. We hire people with great communication skills and a positive can-do attitude who have a love of helping others succeed. Then we train them to become the best swimming instructors possible.

We are currently looking to train Instructors to teach our Learn to Swim Programme. It is essential that you have a love of the water and enjoy interacting with children.

As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you will be teaching preschool and school-aged children the basics of swimming and water safety. You don’t need to be an elite swimmer to teach the Learn to Swim programme - you just need a passion for helping the next generation of New Zealanders grow up capable and confident in the water.

We have a variety of shifts available on weekday afternoons (3:15pm - 6:45pm) and weekends (7:45am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm).

Successful applicants will be available to teach 2 to 3 shifts and be in a position to commit to the role for a minimum of 12 months.
