Finance Analyst

The Role
This is a broad and varied role, providing financial analysis and management for single and/or multi-asset property funds across NZ and Australia. The key focus of the Finance Analyst is to business partner, acting as a strategic partner to provide financial support and solutions.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Business partnering providing financial insight and analysis to support decision making
• Preparing management accounts and board reporting
• Preparing annual budgets and variance analysis against actual results
• Regular review and updating of cash flows to offer financial insight
• Assisting Asset Managers with annual strategic reviews
• Scenario analysis, modelling financial implications of alternative scenarios including financial stress testing including feasibilities of acquisitions and divestments
• Supporting fund accountants in preparation of  annual reports and financial statements
• Treasury management including cash monitoring, negotiating refinancing or new loan deals with banks and preparing hedging strategies
• Attending investor meetings

Key Requirements

• CA / CPA (or equivalent) qualified
• 5+ years of experience including modelling and financial analysis
• Property and/or funds management experience extremely desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to business partner and relay information to non-financial stakeholders
• High attention to detail
• Ambitious
