Monitoring Centre Operator - Security Call Centre (Albany, North Shore)

We are seeking motivated and resilient Customer Service – Call Centre Operators for our Albany, North Shore, Auckland office.  Full time.

Sharp multi-taskers who can make good decisions under pressure, with great attention to detail and provide excellence in customer service to our clients.   

Your role will entail the monitoring of various alarms and CCTV systems, requiring you to utilize diverse IT platforms and maintain effective communication with clients within a corporate control room environment.

SECOM is a Professional A1 Graded Security Provider and Installer.

You will join our friendly team in delivering excellent care to a National client base. 


Key responsibilities will be:

  • Answering incoming Customer Calls and Event Alarms. 

  • Liaising with field Technicians and Management.

  • Supporting and co-ordinating customer jobs Nationwide.

  • Work closely with all internal departments to ensure fast, effective delivery of service.

  • Managing incoming correspondence & events, Emails, Alarms & CCTV.

  • Data entry and system management of all alarm & CCTV response events. 

  • Managing, resolving and escalating customer queries. 

  • Dispatching Patrols, organising Security Guards, liaising with Police. 


As the ideal candidate, you have:

  • Natural people skills, a flair for dealing with customers and colleagues. 

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. 

  • Strong processing, Computer, and administration skills. 

  • An ability to multitask with accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • Be customer focused to provide fast, professional, positive outcomes.

  • Contact/ Call Centre industry or Administrative experience would be an advantage.

  • Available to work on a rotating roster.

  • Be able to pass a police background check - you will be obtaining a Private Security Licence (COA) through the Ministry of Justice; therefore, it is essential you have no criminal convictions and records.

We are a 24hr – 7day operation, Shift range – Day, Afternoon, Night & Weekends.  Full-time - only opportunities available.
