Legal & Compliance Team Leader

Join us as our Legal & Compliance Team Leader and help shape the way we work. In this role, you’ll lead a small, capable team that prepares important documentation for the Body Corporate industry.  You will ensure documents are accurate and delivered to a high standard in line with our processes.

You’ll work closely with Senior Management and Body Corporate Managers, providing guidance, improving processes, and helping ensure the business operates smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, problem solving and developing expertise over time in a supportive environment.

The role

This is a permanent, full‑time role reporting to our Auckland Manager. You will:

  • Become one of our subject matter experts on the Unit Titles Act and associated legislation
  • Work with our team to ensure we are complying with all legislative requirements
  • Oversee the preparation and quality of legal documents provided to our clients
  • Support and guide team members, helping them grow their confidence and knowledge
  • Work closely with managers and stakeholders across the business
  • Lead and develop a small team, creating a positive and collaborative culture

Full training and support will be provided to build your knowledge of the Body Corporate industry.

About you

You’re an organised and detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting others and improving how things are done. You may come from a legal, property, compliance, or governance background and are keen to continue building your skills in a leadership role.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • A Law degree or Legal Executive qualification
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a legal, property, or compliance related role
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing legal documents
  • An interest in property, compliance, or governance
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A collaborative and practical approach to work
