Part-time Support Workers

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate support worker to assist a tetraplegic woman with childcare, household tasks, and accessing the community. This is a part-time role with a rotating 6-week schedule.

Family is extremely important to her, so it is essential that the support worker understands her values and the importance of supporting her children in a positive and respectful way.

As she leads a busy life balancing work and her children’s extracurricular activities, we are looking for someone who is:

• Proactive and organised

• Adaptable to changing daily needs

• Comfortable supporting both parenting and household routines

• Able to integrate naturally into the household without being intrusive or overbearing

This role would suit someone who enjoys supporting families, is flexible, and can confidently assist with day-to-day activities while respecting the independence and routines of the household.

 
The ideal candidate Must:

• Be available to work some weekends

• Have a full driver's license and own transport (essential)

• Be eligible to work in New Zealand with no restrictions (essential)

• Willing to travel and drive mobility vehicles
