As a Registered Teacher, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality early childhood education aligned with Te Whāriki. You’ll work collaboratively with your team to create meaningful learning experiences that spark curiosity and support every child’s unique development.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Building warm, responsive relationships with tamariki and their whānau
- Planning and implementing engaging learning experiences
- Documenting and extending children’s learning journeys
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture
- Supporting the centre’s commitment to high-quality education and care
- A Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) or equivalent
- NZ teacher registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand
- A strong understanding of child-led learning and intentional teaching
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A positive, proactive approach and a genuine love for working with tamariki
