Senior Property Consultant – Survey & Legalisation

WSP is seeking a Senior Consultant – Survey & Legalisation to provide technical leadership and lead the delivery of survey and legalisation projects across New Zealand. This role supports our Property Consultancy team within the Regions business, driving excellence in surveying practice, property systems, and project outcomes.

This position can be based in any WSP office across New Zealand and offers the opportunity to contribute at both a regional and national level while working on a diverse portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a regional portfolio of survey and property projects, delivering on time and within budget
• Prepare survey instructions and oversee procurement and delivery of cadastral surveys
• Enhance property systems and processes related to survey and legalisation
• Develop and deliver internal training programmes and resources
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing

About You:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Survey, Property, or Law
• Minimum of 6 years’ professional experience in a related role
• Current full driver’s licence
• LINZ Accreditation (Nominated Person) in Legislation and Roading Actions
• Full membership of Survey and Spatial New Zealand (S+SNZ)
• Strong organisational, mentoring, and technical training skills
• Demonstrates trustworthiness, integrity, and a client-centric approach
