About the opportunity

Among other responsibilities, this role involves conducting investigations to identify the root causes of device faults and contributing to the development of effective solutions.

In these investigations you will at times need to conduct fair and accurate engineering tests and analyse data. Experimental protocols will need to be created.

You will also be involved in a worldwide device repair project. This involves engineering and communication skills.

Utilizing our fully equipped on-site machine shop, you will design and fabricate new components as needed. This role requires a practical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You will need to conduct design review meetings and other communications as necessary.

About you

  • You hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • You possess strong mechanical reasoning skills and have a broad general scientific knowledge.
  • You have the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with others.
  • You are adept at troubleshooting and asking insightful questions.
  • You demonstrate mental agility, adapting your thinking to suit dynamic situations and challenges.
