Service Technician Team Leader - Pest Control | Auckland
We are looking for a hands-on Service Team Leader to support and guide a team of pest technicians across Auckland. This role is ideal for someone who has stepped into leadership in the past few years and is ready to grow their people management and operational skills in a supportive environment.
This is a role focused on execution, people support, and service quality, where you’ll be close to the action, best suited to someone who is early to mid-stage in their leadership career and enjoys being actively involved in day-to-day operations.
If you enjoy leading from the front, building team capability, and being part of a fast-moving service operation, this could be a great next step.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading a team of ~10 field technicians, providing day-to-day guidance and support
- Coaching and developing team members to improve performance and confidence
- Monitoring service quality and stepping in to resolve issues when needed
- Working closely with customers to ensure consistent, reliable service delivery
- Supporting scheduling, resource planning, and operational coordination
- Ensuring health & safety standards are followed across all sites
- Assisting with reporting and contributing to ongoing service improvements
What We’re Looking For
- Around 2-4 years’ experience in a team leader or supervisor role (service or operations environment preferred)
- Someone who enjoys being hands-on and close to the team, rather than purely strategic
- Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset
- Confidence in handling day-to-day people matters and customer interactions
- Good organisation and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- A genuine interest in developing people and building team culture
- Full Class 1 NZ driver’s licence with a clean record
Why Join Us?
- Solid, stable role with a manageable team size
- Opportunity to grow your leadership capability with support
- Varied, fast-paced work where no two days are the same
- Be part of a team that values practical leadership and teamwork
