We’re now looking for an experienced Accounts & Finance Administrator to support the financial operations of the business and ensure our financial processes remain accurate, organised, and audit-ready.
This role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys working in a structured, compliance-focused environment where attention to detail, documentation discipline, and financial accuracy are critical.
What you'll do
Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Xero including raising invoices.
Perform weekly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
Process accounts payable and monitor accounts receivable.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and maintain debtor discipline.
Complete credit card reconciliations and expense coding.
Prepare weekly accounts receivable ageing reports.
Maintain a rolling cash position tracker to support cashflow visibility.
Monitor revenue against monthly targets.
Flag financial risks, inconsistencies, or emerging financial pressure points to the CEO.
Prepare month-end documentation for the external Chartered Accountant.
Maintain structured financial documentation to ensure the business remains audit-ready and compliant.
Identify opportunities to strengthen financial controls and internal processes.
Support financial governance within a compliance-heavy professional services environment.
What you’ll bring
Minimum 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounts administration.
Strong Xero proficiency (essential).
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Experience working in a compliance-heavy or regulated industry such as legal, accounting, financial services, healthcare, or immigration is highly desirable.
Confidence working directly with business leadership.
Ability to identify inconsistencies and proactively flag potential financial risks.
Strong sense of accountability and ownership over financial accuracy.
Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Hours & flexibility
Part-time role — approximately 25 hours per week
