Auto Diagnostics specialises in ADAS systems and automotive electrical work. Our technicians work on radar systems, cameras, vehicle sensors and modern electronics on late model vehicles across Northland.
This is not basic workshop work.
We are looking for a serious technician.
Either a mechanic or Auto Electrician who wants to step into the world of ADAS and auto electrical at the top end of modern vehicle technology.
If you want to keep doing the same jobs forever, this role probably will not suit you.

THE ROLE
Auto Diagnostics is a mobile service supporting panel shops, workshops and repairers across New Zealand. You will be out on the road visiting our trade customers and helping them get vehicles safely back on the road. Company vehicle provided.
Our support team handles the bookings and logistics so you can focus on the technical work.
The work includes:
ADAS radar and camera calibrations
Working with advanced driver assistance systems on modern vehicles
Pre and post repair vehicle scanning
Sensor diagnosis and replacement
Electrical repairs and installations
Working alongside repairers to ensure vehicles are returned safely and correctly
You will be working on a wide range of late model vehicles using specialised ADAS equipment and modern tools

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A qualified mechanic who wants to specialise in ADAS and electrical systems
An experienced auto electrician

You might not tick every box yet but have the right attitude and a strong desire to learn.

You will also need:
Valid rights to work in New Zealand and good English communication
A full clean NZ driver licence
The ability to work independently and solve problems
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Good communication with teammates and customers
A positive attitude and willingness to keep learning
And most importantly you need to be someone who raises the standard of the team around you.
