Customer Service / Sales Rep - Plant Production Nursery

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service professional with a passion for both sales and plants to join our team.

This role is 40–45 hours per week (negotiable) at our nursery in Clevedon. You'll be part of a supportive team in a rural setting, working with a huge range of plants. Benefits include performance bonuses, a staff plant discount, and a free monthly lunch.

Only candidates with permanent New Zealand residency or citizenship will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via email, phone, and walk-ins, ensuring sales targets are met

• Manage orders from quote stage through to delivery or collection

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers

• Identify and approach new customers within the target market

• Assist with sales and marketing material and help organise customer events

• Help customers and carriers load orders when required

• Occasionally assist the dispatch team

Skills & Experience

• Full clean driver’s licence

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Intermediate–advanced ERP, email, and Microsoft Office skills

• Good plant knowledge

• Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive with a positive attitude

• Strong team player with a customer-focused approach

• Good written and spoken English

• Physically fit and willing to get your hands dirty
