Architect / Senior Architectural Designer – ArchiCAD

Bespoke Architecture is experiencing strong growth with a significant uptake of new projects. We are seeking an experienced Architect or Senior Architectural Designer with strong ArchiCAD experience to join our team.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working directly with clients and mentoring junior team members. You will work across a variety of project typologies, delivering projects from concept through to construction.

This is a role for someone who wants real project responsibility rather than being another number in a large practice.

Bespoke Architecture works with developers, builders and private clients across New Zealand, delivering residential and commercial projects. We operate fully in ArchiCAD and applicants must be confident working in an ArchiCAD environment. You must be in New Zealand and hold the relevant NZ qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead client-focused projects from engagement and concept through to construction
Prepare and review design and documentation packages using ArchiCAD
Coordinate consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities
Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
Mentor and support junior team members
Assist with improving documentation standards and internal workflows

What We Are Looking For

6–8+ years’ experience working in a New Zealand architectural practice
Strong ArchiCAD proficiency
Excellent understanding of NZ construction methods, building codes and standards
Experience navigating NZ resource consent and building consent processes
Formal architectural qualification (Diploma, Bachelor or Masters)
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Ability to manage projects independently while working collaboratively with the wider team

What We Offer

Salary $100,000 – $115,000 depending on experience
