Cleaning Operations Supervisor

The Cleaning Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supervising housekeeper staff and coordinating cleaning operations across multiple properties in Queenstown. The role focuses on maintaining high service standards, supporting the cleaning team and ensuring properties are prepared for guest arrivals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of housekeepers across multiple properties

  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure cleaning standards are maintained

  • Provide training and guidance to new and existing cleaning staff

  • Assist with coordinating weekly cleaning schedules

  • Monitor team performance and ensure tasks are completed to company standards

  • Manage linen inventory and cleaning supplies

  • Monitor stock levels and purchase consumables for properties under management

  • Coordinate with property managers regarding guest turnovers

  • Report maintenance issues identified during inspections

  • Support the cleaning team when required during busy periods


Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in cleaning, housekeeper or hospitality

  • Experience supervising staff is preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards

  • Good organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and lead a small team

  • Valid driver license

Employment Details

  • Minimum 30 hours guaranteed per week

  • Pay rate $32 - $38 per hour depending on experience

  • Full-time position based in Queenstown

About the role

Due to the growth of the business and the number of properties serviced, a supervisor is required to support the housekeeping team and maintain cleaning standards across multiple properties.
