About the Role

We are looking for a Warehouse Inventory Coordinator to join our Meadow Fresh dairy manufacturing site in Christchurch to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.

You will focus on developing and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy, prevent supply disruptions and minimize stock write offs.

To make this happen, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the development and optimization of site inventory systems and WMS processes, driving continuous improvement and resource utilization
• Lead inventory control processes including cycle counts, stock takes, variance resolution, FIFO and batch control
• Maintain and improve SOPs, analyse stock adjustment trends, identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Support onboarding, training and coaching of warehouse staff to build capability and understanding of best practices

About You

For this role to be a success you will be a background in Warehousing or Logistics with experience in the FMCG industry. Prior experience in Dairy or Food manufacturing would be ideal.

Skillsets, qualifications and experience we are looking for include:

• Qualification in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or similar would be highly desirable
• Experience in system implementations and system changes would be advantageous
• Experience with operating a WMS is essential
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
