Class 2 Delivery Driver

Tauranga ITM Building & Fencing Supplies is currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Class 2 Delivery Driver.

This role will suit someone who takes pride in their work, communicates confidently, and understands the importance of delivering excellent service on every site.

About the role:

Delivering and collecting materials using a Class 2 tip truck

• Using a mobile app to manage deliveries and returns, including taking photos while on site

• Communicating directly with customers regarding the delivery while on site.

• Managing credits and returning items from site

• Working closely with yard staff to ensure loads are safe and correctly prepared to be delivered.

• Some deliveries may be outside Tauranga, requiring flexibility with start and finish times

• Involves some manual handling, including unloading and lifting products from the truck on site.

• Forklift operation as required, but not essential. 

What we're looking for:

• Full NZ Class 2 driver licence

• Tip truck experience would be preferred but note essential

• Current forklift license (F endorsement), but not essential

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Confident using mobile apps and basic technology

• Comfortable making phone calls to customers and site contacts if you need to.

• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on tasks when required.

• Reliable, flexible, and safety-focused

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
