About the role and who we are looking for:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Permanent Part-Time Cleaning Assistant to join our Residential Care site in Papatoetoe, South Auckland. This role offers 16 hours per week. 

This position would suit someone who is passionate about providing high-quality cleaning services, enjoys working around people, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment within a residential care setting.What will you be doing??

In this position you will be responsible for cleaning all bathrooms and toilets, rooms and offices, vacuuming and polishing floors, emptying rubbish, maintaining and storing cleaning equipment and chemicals, and any other general cleaning duties as required. You will also need to manage cleaning duties in a timely manner and to adhere to health, safety and security procedures.

Ideal skills and experience:

If you're our perfect candidate you will have a high attention to detail, be willing to go the extra mile and take pride and ownership of the role. You will have high standards in personal presentation, as well as a have a friendly, helpful, outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. You will demonstrate good working knowledge of commercial cleaning and infection control procedures and be flexible to work under short notice. Ideally you will have previous cleaning experience in an aged care environment, but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for customer service and quality.
