Private Client Lawyer

About the role
  
You will join a respected and busy Private Client team advising on a broad range of private wealth matters, with a strong focus on Trusts. Working closely with an experienced and approachable Partner and a great team, you will play a key role in delivering strategic advice to individuals, families and business owners across South Auckland and beyond.
  
This is a pivotal role within the team, offering the opportunity to develop your practice, build client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the firm.

What we’re looking for

• An experienced qualified lawyer with at least 5 years’ PQE working in a well-regarded firm and holds or is entitled to hold a current NZ legal practicing certificate
• Experience in trusts and private wealth matters
• The ability to confidently advise and build long-term client relationships
• Strong communication skills and a high level of client care
• Commercial awareness and business development capability
• A professional, positive and collegial approach to teamwork
