Assistant Property Manager
We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people‑focused Assistant Property Manager to join our small Cambridge‑based team. This role is ideal for someone who lives in the local community, enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and is keen to grow their career in property management.
What you’ll be doing
Managing a small portfolio of properties with care and professionalism
Supporting the Senior Property Manager
Carrying out routine property inspections and preparing inspection reports
Preparing tenancy documentation, agreements and compliance paperwork
General administration to support smooth day‑to‑day operations
Proactively identifying and securing new properties to bring into the business (commission available) through your networking and market analysis
What we’re offering
20 hours per week to start, with the ability to increase hours as the portfolio grows
Preferably four days per week, around 5 hours per day
Hourly rate + potential commission for new managements you bring on

Who we’re looking for
Someone confident communicating with tenants, owners and contractors
Confidence in business development to grow the portfolio with good local networks
Strong attention to detail and comfortable preparing documentation
Reliable, organised and able to work independently
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous administration, customer service and ideally property experience
A full NZ driver licence
