About the job:  

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Wastewater Specialist to join our team in Christchurch. 

The role involves:

• Leading onsite teams and supporting their daily work. 
• Planning and coordinating projects to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
• Monitoring progress and quality across a variety of field activities. 
• Coaching and developing staff to help them grow in their roles. 
• Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams. 

What you’ll need: 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Wastewater Industry.
• New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure works (Pipeline Construction and Maintenance) Level 4 or equivalent.
• Excellent understanding of Wastewater networks and maintenance.
• Experience leading small teams, ideally in the water, construction, or related industries. 
• We need someone who is able and willing to participate in the on-call and standby roster.
• You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused and work well in a team as well as independently.
• Full class 1 & 2 licences and WTR Endorsements is essential. 

All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
