About the Role
Join Plume Restaurant, a premium dining destination in the heart of the Matakana wine region, where award-winning cuisine meets exceptional service. You will work alongside the Restaurant Manager to deliver world-class dining experiences, including expertly prepared coffee, in a stunning vineyard and coastal setting.
Plume Restaurant operates in conjunction with Plume Villas, offering high-standard guest accommodation, creating a premium hospitality experience where guests enjoy fine dining and luxury stays.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional food, wine, and coffee service to all guests
Prepare high-quality coffee beverages to café and restaurant standards
POS, computer, and projector skills are required to assist with conference guests
Maintain restaurant and coffee areas to the highest standard of cleanliness, presentation, and stock levels
Ensure smooth table service and follow professional service sequences
Assist with beginning/end-of-shift reporting and restaurant operations
About You
We are looking for someone with natural hospitality instincts, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Minimum two years’ experience in hospitality, including coffee preparation skills
High-end or premium dining experience preferred
Confidence managing your own section in a busy restaurant
Wine knowledge or interest in wine (highly desirable)
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
Understanding of professional service sequences and standards
Full driver’s licence preferred
LCQ (Liquor Control Qualification) will be an advantage
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
