Marlborough Oysters Ltd is a privately owned oyster production company and the inventor of the FlipFarm™ oyster growing system. Together with our associated company, FlipFarm Systems Ltd, we’re recognised internationally for sustainable aquaculture and practical innovation.

Lead the operations of a premium seafood processing facility in Marlborough. We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee daily oyster processing operations while ensuring full compliance with food safety, export and regulatory standards.

About the role

• Manage daily processing, packing, cold storage and dispatch operations

• Lead and supervise packhouse and processing staff

• Maintain and implement the MPI-registered Risk Management Programme (RMP)

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, traceability and export requirements

• Coordinate with farm and logistics teams to support efficient production

About you

• Experience in seafood processing, food manufacturing or regulated food production

• Knowledge of RMP, HACCP or equivalent food safety systems

• Strong leadership, organisation and compliance focus

• Detail-oriented with solid operational and documentation skills
